Jasper is known as the "supreme nurturer". It sustains and supports during times of stress and promotes tranquility and wholeness. It aligns chakras and can be used in chakra layouts. It facilitates shamanic journeys and dream recall, and it provides protection and grounds energies and the body. It absorbs negative energy and cleanses and aligns the chakras and aura. Jasper balances yin and yang and aligns the physical, emotional, and mental bodies within the etheric realm. It clears electromagnetic and environmental pollution, and aids dowsing.

Leopard skin Jasper (also called Jaguar Stone) connects and aids with one’s communication with the animal kingdom, in both the physical and spiritual planes. Relates to Shamanism, helping to discover one’s power animals and discovering how to work with them. It also aides out of body experiences and traveling. It is a powerful protection stone. Brings stability to those who may be experiencing chaotic energies. When one is in sync with this stone, it is known for drawing harmonious vibrations into one's existence, corresponding to one's immediate needs, but not necessarily desires. Attracts circumstances and people that are advantageous to one's own personal development.

Silver has been a common metal used to protect against evil. Ruled by the Moon and symbolizes receptivity, reaction and reflection. Believed to have purifying effects and carries all things both ways. Silver absorbs many things, but it doesn't store them. Silver is also magically neutral.
